Wavetec is the enterprise heavyweight — a global provider with strong African banking deployments. Its systems are built around physical infrastructure: ticket dispenser kiosks, counter displays, feedback terminals, and enterprise software. Pricing is custom-quoted; implementations involve hardware procurement, installation and integration. If you are a national bank rolling out 40 branches with a budget to match, Wavetec is a serious, proven choice.

Qminder is the SaaS option — clean, modern, well liked, no proprietary hardware required. It is priced per service location/user tier, with published plans in the range of roughly $429–$1,149 per month. It is cloud-based, so it needs reliable internet, is billed in USD by card, and support is remote.

Ellertek LIVE (Queue Management module) is the locally built option from Dar es Salaam. A note on total cost over 3 years

A mid-tier SaaS subscription at $500/month is roughly TZS 3.9 million per month-equivalent over three years (≈ TZS 47 million), before hardware. The Ellertek LIVE Calm Waiting Room bundle over the same period is about TZS 3.2 million total (annual billing), plus one ordinary Windows PC. For most single-site Tanzanian institutions, the arithmetic is decisive.
